If you are planning on staying for a couple days, you probably need somewhere to sleep. The Hilton Garden Inn is located near downtown Fayetteville and only 11 miles from ZipQuest! If you do decide to stay a couple days, you probably want to plan some activities for your fun trip. But what’s there to do? Well the best thing is obviously ZipQuest! But aside from that, Fayetteville has plenty to offer. The Gillis Hill Farms offers fun educational tours, delicious ice cream, wagon rides, and an animal show. Another fun thing to do is pick your own grapes! Visit Auman Vineyards, where you can pick your own set of grapes, or buy pre-picked ones from their roadside farm market. If you love nature, be sure to stop by the Cape Fear Botanical Garden, which ecompasses 79 acres and showcases more than 2,000 varieties of ornamental plants. One of Fayetteville’s most interesting attractions, the Airborne and Special Operations Museum features a lot of exhibits illuminating the long military history of Airborne platoons and Special Ops. If you prefer some indoor entertainment, check out what’s going on at the Crown Complex Arena. It hosts a variety of concerts, sporting events, and performances – from Disney on Ice, to WWF wrestling, to indoor football. If you have some kids with you, and want to entertain them, the Fascinate-U Children’s Museum is a great place to stop by! Here, kids can explore their world in the way that they learn best, through creative role-playing, and interaction with each other and the objects around them.
